MOMA online activities
Modern teachers is a Web site designed to connect K-12 classroom teachers to MoMa resources and the collection. Also children five to eight can explore the collection with a visitor from outer space via “Destination: Modern Art.” Another feature, “Red Studio,” is for teens to read artist interviews, hear podcasts and find resources.
National Gallery of Art
A place where teachers and students can connect art and curriculum. Includes a research finder that you can search by curriculum, topic and artist. Feature lessons include Art & Ecology, 19th-century America, Self-Portraits in Art, Counting on Art, The Dutch Golden Age and much, much more! Includes game “Ancient Arcade” on gods and symbols from myths in art.
